All branches of law enforcement community to be honored at Fourth Annual Motor Officer Bike Blessing & Rodeo.
Mendon, Massachusetts, January 31, 2012 – The Motor Officer Bike Blessing and Rodeo (M.O.B.B.A.R.) will once again be honoring law enforcement officers and their families during its fourth annual event on Sunday May 20, 2012. All branches of the law enforcement community, including on and off duty police, fire, military and veterans are welcome to participate.
The event will feature a bike blessing for all officers to be performed by members of the Christian Motorcyclists Association. Officers are welcome to attend riding civilian or department motorcycles. The event will also include bike games and prizes, food, music, family based activities, raffles and more. This event is family friendly, alcohol is strictly prohibited. We invite and encourage officers to include their families, friends and loved ones in this special day.
The Fourth Annual M.O.B.B.A.R. will be held at Imperial Cars.com (Chevrolet dealership), located at 18 Uxbridge Road in Mendon, Massachusetts on Sunday May 20, 2012 rain or shine. Event grounds will be open 10AM -3PM, with the opening police procession arriving at 11AM.
Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit C.O.P.S. (Concerns of Police Survivors, Inc) New England chapter, a nationally based organization that provides resources to assist in the rebuilding of the lives of surviving families and affected co-workers of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.
The public is welcome and encouraged to come out in support of these law enforcement officers in recognition of their service and dedication to public safety. This is a family friendly event.
